With 2025 kicker/punter Aidan Stire’s social media commitment to the West Virginia University football team, the special teams unit of the Mountaineers gained future depth on Thursday morning.
Stire is starting his senior year of high school at Morgantown High School. As a junior last season, he recorded 39 touchbacks on 50 kickoffs, and he converted 34 of 35 extra-point attempts, according to his X profile. Additionally, he had a 41.96 yard punting average.
As of right now, WVU’s 2025 class has just one special teams specialist: him. He is the 22nd athlete to pledge to WVU for his freshman year in 2025.
