Every season, the lack of a parade to cap off the season leaves supporters of the 31 clubs in the NFL unhappy.
Fans of the Cowboys are no different. But at training camp this week, the quarterback for their club showed some tough love.
When asked about his feelings toward the supporters of the team who are still upset over how the 2023 season ended—a 48-32 lopsided loss at home against the Packers—Dak Prescott responded that the game wasn’t nearly as close as the score suggested.
Five days ago, Prescott stated, via Jon Machota of The Athletic, “Be fans or don’t be fans.” “If you’re a fan, you’ll turn the page and move on, realizing that better days are ahead of you, just like we do.”

“Obviously, I apologize, but we were more saddened by the Packers’ defeat than the fans were. Of course, it is our responsibility to improve and come back, but let’s go on.
Whatever you think of Cowboys supporters, they are among the most committed to their team. If you do poorly, they will put out a fire under you, but they will support their team until the very end.
For an NFL quarterback in particular, it’s part of the job description to be held accountable when you fall short.

Heck, many Eagles supporters blamed someone when the team was just one defensive stop away from defeating the Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII. Jalen is Injured.
But Prescott opted to criticize and call out Dallas fans for being unfair weather people, instead of expressing sympathy for their sadness and promising to make a strong return in 2024.
Perhaps that explains some of the “attendance” at the Cowboys’ Oxnard, California, practice today.
Whoa. Lots of ardent Cowboys supporters, all decked out like vacant stands. They must have decided to either “be fans or not be fans.”
