According to Nick Wright, the New York Giants will be getting Dak Prescott and Bill Belichick as a package deal for the upcoming season. Since he joined the NFL in 2020, CeeDee Lamb has improved each year.
He set career highs in receiving yards, touchdowns, and catches at the end of the 2023 campaign. However, a contract issue has taken center stage in the All-Pro wide receiver’s offseason. Lamb is looking to the Dallas Cowboys for a new, long-term contract, but it seems like they are still at a standstill.
Lamb has updated his header to a picture of himself with his former Oklahoma teammate Marquise “Hollywood” Brown. Brown inked a contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in March after playing for the Arizona Cardinals for the previous two seasons.
"I don't have any urgency to get it done." – Cowboys owner Jerry Jones on contract talks with CeeDee Lamb.

Following comments made by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones that there was no pressing need to settle on a new deal with the wide receiver and his agents, Lamb made his cryptic social media actions.
Jones said on Thursday, “No,” as reported by The Athletic. “I attended both high school and college. I’m not sure why I said that, but I’m just expressing that I don’t feel pressure to finish it.
Lamb took notice of Jones’ remarks and responded by writing “lol” on X on Thursday.
The 25-year-old also finished the 2023 campaign with 1,749 receiving yards, which was the second-most in the league. Dolphins star Tyreek Hill’s 1,799 receiving yards led the NFL last year.
Based on the parameters of the last year of his rookie deal, Lamb will make slightly less than $18 million in 2024.
Lamb’s draft classmate, Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings, signed a historic contract extension earlier this offseason. ESPN revealed in June that Jefferson has consented to a $140 million, four-year contract extension.
