The Dallas Cowboys begin their season on the road against the Cleveland Browns, and Micah Parsons is eager to shine.

The three-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro has had enough of the offseason and is eager to get down to business in the regular season. Micah’s “assassin” statement about wanting to level up his game was followed by a brief but strong reaction regarding what qualifies him as a “assassin.”

“I think y’all about to see it, you know, all jokes aside, I couldn’t be more ready than to go out there on Sunday and play football,” Parsons admitted with a chuckle.

Color us intrigued, Micah.

Parsons will remain a critical chess piece in Mike Zimmer’s defense, but two new defensive tackles, Linval Joseph and Jordan Phillips, add much-needed muscle and strength to the line.

Last season, the Cowboys were much smaller in the trenches, but now there is some genuine size that can help Dallas stop the run. However, having Joseph and Phillips in the inside may allow Parsons to get sacks on early downs.
