Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, is in hot water, albeit it is possible that he is unaware of what he done. When a video of Jones observing an anonymous Cowboys practice appeared on social media on Saturday, it sparked a flurry of responses from people who swiftly reacted to the racist allegations that have followed Jones throughout his public life.

The video was captured during a livestream that comedian and actor Jamie Foxx shared. It appeared that Foxx was sitting beside Jones to watch a Cowboys practice while giving followers glimpses of both Jones and himself. Jones started listing a player’s measurements, clearly not realizing he was being filmed, although he never mentioned which player.

Jones started off by mentioning typical NFL Combine-style dimensions.

Jones remarked, “He looked pretty good right there.” “At five feet nine and a half, 210, he demonstrated balance.”

Foxx then nodded and gave Jones the height and weight again.

“4.41 [40-yard sprint],” Jones went on. Nine and a half inches in length.

Jones went on, seemingly straying from the topic at hand.Jones appeared to remark, “Eight and a half inch****,” at which point Foxx abruptly stopped the filming.

The Cowboys’ Owner Has Been Sued for Racism

The video itself, which was found on the website Glock Topickz, is obviously the Cowboys’ Jones, but it is still untrue. Nevertheless, it has circulated via traditional and social media. It is possible that Jones was misquoted in some way or that he was just cracking a joke. However, many assumed that Jones was discussing anatomical size in a way that has previously been problematic.

Once more, there is no guarantee that the player in question was Black, but running back Dalvin Cook, who is on the practice squad, fits the usual proportions perfectly. Before the 2017 draft, Cook, who is listed as 5-foot-10 and 210 pounds, did a 40-yard sprint in 4.49 seconds.

It is nevertheless true that Jones was raised in a racially volatile era in Arkansas, and in 1957, the Washington Post released a picture of Jones, along with other white teenagers, preventing Black pupils in Little Rock from entering a public school at the age of 14.

In the 2023 lawsuit brought by former NFL Media writer Jim Trotter, Jones was also charged with making a racist comment that implied Black players should not be complaining because they receive “a large percentage of league revenue” and therefore had no right to request that more HBCU players be considered for the NFL draft.

Strong Reactions to the Comments

In light of this, Jones faced harsh criticism following the release of the Cowboys practice tape.

With over 260,000 followers, the well-known website MLFootball posted: “WHAT IN THE JERRY JONES IS THIS?

According to League writer Dov Kleinman, “8 and a half inch d*ck” Foxx abruptly interrupted the livestream after Jerry Jones, the owner of the Cowboys, appeared to be discussing a player’s p*nis size during his live stream with Jamie Foxx.

John Baione, a different correspondent from Chiefs Kingdom, wrote:

“The NFL’s P Diddy is Jerry Jones.”

“Jerry Jones did not want people like Jamie Foxx to attend public schools,” @90sConcert stated on Twitter/X. In actuality, he participated in a demonstration that prevented black students from attending public schools, thus it was more than just something he did not want. Of course, handle him like any other respectable, non-racist person.

In Week 3, the Cowboys take on the Ravens on Sunday.
