Dan Campbell was bursting with energy after the Detroit Lions improved their record to 2-1.

The Lions fought hard for a 20-13 victory on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals, and while it wasn’t always pretty, a win is still a win.

It doesn’t have to be perfect on the field as long as Detroit and Campbell come away with the win. That’s what happened against Kyler Murray and the Cardinals, and Campbell was thrilled to see it happen.

Dan Campbell celebrates the win over the Cardinals.

The Detroit Lions’ head coach is known for delivering impactful locker room speeches, and he didn’t disappoint after beating the Cardinals.

“That’s how you get back in the win column, alright. It doesn’t surprise me at all. You guys showed up to work. It was the best week we’ve had, and here’s what I love, man. This week, we talked about it. This was one of those gritty, unglamorous games you had to play, and you did that across the board, man. At the end of the day, that’s our baseline,” an excited Campbell said in the locker room after the victory.

If you’re a football fan, how can you not love Dan Campbell? It doesn’t matter if you like the Lions or not.

L just can’t deny that Campbell is the type of leader you’d want by your side. He’s the guy you’d run through a brick wall for.

He’s a true football man, and it’s awesome hearing him talk about how the Lions secured a “gritty” and “unglamorous” win.

As a Lions fan, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
