The 2024 Dallas Cowboys season’s first three games have not gone as expected. Jerry Jones, the general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, is obviously upset about the team’s two straight losses at AT&T Stadium, which included a humiliating setback to the New Orleans Saints. With his justification for not signing running back Derrick Henry, Jones angered supporters after Sunday’s loss to the previously winless Baltimore Ravens. After being connected to the Cowboys, Henry signed with the Ravens and helped them win with two touchdowns.

The future of head coach Mike McCarthy, whose contract expires after this season, is another issue that Cowboys supporters are worried about. But Jones is holding out for a coaching change during the season, especially considering McCarthy’s contract predicament, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter on the Pat McAfee program.

“Jerry is always very understanding,” Schefter said in reference to McCarthy. What do you want them to do during the season, even if it gets really loud? What are they going to do, like, this instant? What action do you desire from them? His winning % is the highest in Cowboys franchise history. Over the previous three years, he has won 12 games in a row. You want to get rid of this guy, like, really? He is, incidentally, in the final year of

“Once more, I want to ask you what you want them to do,” he said. Jerry Jones was asked, “Why did not you sign Derrick Henry? He claimed they were unable to pay him. Derrick Henry and Dak Prescott share the same agent, you know. If it could be arranged, Derrick Henry would likely be preferred by Dak’s agency in Dallas, so there might be a way to make it happen, but they were unable to do so.

“They had third parties paying them. Trey Lance will get a guaranteed $5 million this year, according to Schefter. Unable to afford everything, and each team has its own decision-making process. You can work things out if you want a player badly enough.Still, should the hemorrhage continue, might Jones make a significant move at the head coaching position?

Is Mike McCarthy, the coach of the Cowboys, under fire?

As previously reported, McCarthy’s contract for the upcoming season is unsigned, hence his future with the Cowboys is unclear. Many are wondering how long Jones will put up with him after his poor season debut, which has hurt his case for a new contract.

After losing to the Ravens on Sunday, the Cowboys have a short week as they get ready to play the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium this Thursday night. In the event that a win does not send the Cowboys back to.500, McCarthy’s leash might get tighter.
