The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly shopping three-time All-Pro wide receiver Davante Adams. Could the Dallas Cowboys be interested in a major trade?

Aside from CeeDee Lamb, the Cowboys’ wide receivers have been underwhelming. Brandin Cooks has had a disappointing first month, while Jalen Tolbert has shown potential but hasn’t had a breakout game.

The Cowboys’ lack of depth and experience at the position has fueled speculation throughout the offseason and early season regarding a possible trade.

Cowboys Sign Las Vegas Raiders' 3-Time All-Pro Wide Receiver in Blockbuster Trade Proposal

Dallas has been linked to former Cowboys receiver and current Cleveland Browns star Amari Cooper, but another big name is catching the attention of Cowboys fans.

Enter Las Vegas Raiders’ star Davante Adams.

According to Vincent Bonsignore of the *Las Vegas Review-Journal*, the three-time All-Pro is reportedly being shopped. He writes the team is “growing open” to trading Adams and “the club has begun reaching out to teams to gauge interest in the veteran wide receiver.”

Adams previously played for Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys’ current head coach, when he was with the Green Bay Packers in 2014.

Under McCarthy, Adams had one 1,000-yard season and three double-digit touchdown seasons.

Acquiring Adams would likely be expensive, so the Cowboys must decide whether they’re willing to commit financially and part with draft picks for a short-term addition. If Jerry Jones is serious, he should make the call to explore a possible deal.
