The Dallas Cowboys do not seem to be interested in Davante Adams, even though the team lacks depth at wide receiver.

The Las Vegas Raiders have received a trade request from Adams. For the 2-2 Raiders this season, he has appeared in three games and has 18 receptions for 209 yards and one score. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Cowboys are one of the clubs who might be interested in Adams.

“The New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Dallas Cowboys and perhaps the San Francisco 49ers are among teams that either have inquired about the six-time Pro Bowler or are places Adams would be happy landing,” Rapoport stated on Thursday.

The Cowboys, though, seem like they may be checked off the list. While Adams is a terrific playmaker, Dallas doesn’t see the three-time All-Pro fitting into their current cap crunch after handing out large contracts to quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb.

“Not at all. During an appearance on San Antonio’s Sports Star on Thursday, Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones stated, “I do not think there is anything to that.” “CeeDee Lamb, our number one player, just signed with us, and Adams is a top receiver. That would be a long putt for us given the challenges we face in terms of cap.”The Cowboys are likewise making extensive plans for the future. Defensive hero Micah Parsons is next up for an extension, which may land him among the top-paid non-quarterbacks in the league.
