So far this season, CeeDee Lamb, Dak Prescott, and the sideline have been a surefire prescription for trouble.

Following a fruitless offensive series, Lamb and Prescott had a brief exchange on the sidelines during the Cowboys’ Week 3 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. Lamb appeared to be upset, as Prescott turned to face the standout receiver.

Lamb gave a media conference at the start of Week 4, accepting responsibility for the conflict and promising to do better in the future. When the Cowboys defeated the New York Giants 20-15 on “Thursday Night Football,” Lamb finished with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, bringing an official end to the debate.During the Cowboys’ “Sunday Night Football” game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5, the dynamic duo was once again involved in a sideline “argument.” Following a ball that was meant for Lamb that Prescott intercepted, Lamb walked up to Prescott and appeared to give him a hard time.

Even though the Cowboys prevailed 20–17 in the end, Lamb had 62 receiving yards for the game. And the gossip mill started to turn again.

This time, speculations of discord between Lamb and Prescott were quickly refuted by Cowboys supporters and Lamb himself. In response to a question on the sideline exchange, Lamb stated that people “did not even know” what he said on October 10 during the Cowboys’ media day.

Lamb said, “Jump ball four,” once more.

Lamb claims that Prescott ultimately completed the play with a back-shoulder pass, which led to the interception. All Lamb wanted was to tell his quarterback where to put the ball when they had their next chance to get into the red zone.

Lamb has been a leader who keeps his promise, even though the season has not gotten off to the most spectacular start. Fans saw Lamb supporting the offense in different ways during the win in Week 5, such as drawing extra coverage and setting the tone with a block, even when he was not engaged in any plays.

Lamb has 25 receptions for 378 yards and two touchdowns this season.

In Week 6, Lamb and the Cowboys take on the Detroit Lions. When Lamb last faced the Lions defense, he recorded a career-high 227 receiving yards and a touchdown.
