The Dallas Cowboys have decisions to make in the coming weeks. The 2024 NFL trade deadline is fast approaching on Nov. 5, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the Cowboys make a move or two soon.

While some speculate a blockbuster deal could happen, it’s more likely the Cowboys make a smaller trade to add depth.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler explored possible trade candidates and suggested the Chicago Bears might be ready to deal. He listed defensive end Dominique Robinson as a candidate and mentioned the Cowboys as a potential fit.

“The Bears are considering trade options for pass rusher Dominique Robinson, who might need a fresh start. Teams like the Cowboys, Cardinals, and Commanders are short-handed at pass rusher.”

Robinson, a 2022 fifth-round pick, hasn’t played this season but appeared in 17 games for the Bears in 2022 and 11 in 2023. Over those two seasons, he recorded two sacks and 42 total tackles.

In the third year of his four-year, $3.9 million rookie contract, Robinson could be available cheaply. He’s also signed through next season, making him a potential depth option for the Cowboys before the deadline.
