Safety of Packers Xavier McKinney expressed his disapproval of the way the Lions call plays in decisive victories, albeit he did not go as far as former New Jersey Governor and current Cowboys fan Chris Christie.

Christie previously criticized Lions head coach Dan Campbell for attempting to tackle eligible passes for touchdowns in the closing minutes of a lopsided victory, and McKinney mentioned the same thing Thursday without passing judgment on the coach’s moral fiber. Even so, McKinney was able to express that he did not give much thought to how the team ends games when they have a significant lead.

According to Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, McKinney stated, “I believe they attempt to humiliate people.” And I believe that neither this organization nor the players here take that lightly. We are aware that is what they will attempt to do when they come here. Personally, I do not like trying to make someone feel uncomfortable. That is not something I truly respect. It is what it is.

As they prepare for Sunday’s game, McKinney and the rest of the Packers defense have an easy goal ahead of them: preventing the Lions from taking a significant lead in the first place.
