DETROIT — The artist performing during halftime at the 2024 Detroit Lions Thanksgiving Day game has been revealed. This talented musician is up for five Grammy Awards.
Shaboozey will take the stage at Ford Field during the halftime of the Lions’ game against the Chicago Bears on Thursday, November 28, with the game kicking off at 12:30 p.m.
Shaboozey, who recently opened for Jelly Roll at Little Caesars Arena, has received 2025 Grammy nominations in categories such as Best New Artist and Song of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy).” Additionally, he’s nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Best Country Solo Performance, and Best Country Song.

As of now, the Lions hold the best record in the NFC at 7-1. They’ll face off against the 6-3 Houston Texans tonight on Sunday Night Football, starting just after 8:00 p.m.
Next Sunday, the Lions will be back at home to play the Jacksonville Jaguars at 1:00 p.m., before heading to Indianapolis for a matchup against the Colts the following Sunday at 1:00 p.m. Then, it’s Thanksgiving!
