Jared Goff was fired up in the locker room after leading a dramatic comeback.

The Detroit Lions edged out the Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football with a 26-23 victory. This comeback win was a hard-fought one, as the Lions overcame multiple mistakes, including Jared Goff’s five interceptions, to secure the win. Despite the challenges, Detroit showed resilience and pulled off a win when it seemed unlikely.

Inside the jubilant locker room, with the Lions now at 8-1 atop the NFC standings, Goff was among the most passionate, delivering a bold three-word statement to his team: “We’re f—ing different.”

“Hey, if that ain’t a f—ing lesson (that) it ain’t over ’till it’s over, that’s f—ing what it is, boys,” Goff told the Lions after Dan Campbell led his postgame celebration. “Way to f—ing fight all day. We’re f—ing different. We’re f—ing different than all 31 (teams) in this league. Alright? Way to f—ing go.”

It might feel unbelievable for fans to see these Lions performing at this level. They are seen as serious Super Bowl contenders, and some argue they are the most complete team in the NFL.

The Lions are winning games they’re expected to and staying competitive in games they might otherwise lose, as seen on Sunday night.

Detroit now turns its attention to a Week 11 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.
