The Detroit Lions coach was surprised when his press conference kicked off with a question about his tiny Yorkie and big dog Bird. Holly was behind it all!

Holly, you’ve got some explaining to do!

In a moment straight out of a comedy, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell’s wife, Holly, sparked an adorable viral sensation. She shared a post showing Thelma, their teacup Yorkie, sitting on Campbell’s lap during a coffee run. This came a day after his team crushed the Jacksonville Jaguars, 52-6.

Naturally, the first question at his weekly press conference was about Thelma and Bird, their other dog—a much larger Catahoula Leopard that fits Campbell’s tough-guy image.

“I love my dogs,” Campbell admitted. “We’ve had some great ones, and these two are characters. They’re different but fun. They join me on coffee runs—that’s probably the best way to put it.”

Holly took full responsibility for the revelation and seemed to enjoy every moment. She captioned one Instagram Story with “Oops” and a laughing emoji.

Doubling down on her enjoyment, she shared another post in all caps: “THIS WAS SO GREAT.”

Much like their relationship, the Lions and their fans are in a honeymoon phase. The 48-year-old coach has guided Detroit to a 9-1 record, putting them in prime position for the NFC’s top seed.

Thanks to Holly, we’ve glimpsed Campbell’s softer side—a trait that endears him to NFL fans everywhere. Well, maybe not Bears, Packers, or Vikings fans, but nearly everyone else.
