The Lions had just clinched a dramatic win, 12-1 on the season, with kicker Jake Bates’ walk-off field goal.
As Campbell addressed the team in the locker room, Skipper suddenly appeared to be vomiting. In true Campbell fashion, he playfully acknowledged the moment, saying, “Offensive line, that’s how you step up! That’s it, Skip, keep puking! Whatever you’re doing over there, that’s how you lay it all on the line!”
While his teammates laughed, the camera caught Skipper hunched over, red-faced and clearly struggling. Campbell, unfazed, carried on with his speech, emphasizing, “Guys, I’m so proud of you. This is what it’s about. Pressure? This is what we live for.”
