Shane Sperling, a season ticket holder, shared his surprise after reviewing his new invoice. His tickets are set to increase by 35%, which will cost him an additional $1,000. While some fans worry about being priced out, the Lions insist that the increases are not meant to exclude fans but rather to stabilize the growing prices on the secondary market.
As an example, resale prices for the upcoming game against Buffalo show steep costs, with the lowest prices on platforms like StubHub and SeatGeek exceeding $350. The Lions’ spokesperson explained that this price hike aims to reduce the impact of inflated secondary market prices.
