Dallas Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush is starting to find a rhythm with receiver CeeDee Lamb, and their connection has been growing stronger over the past two games. While it took time for Rush to get back into form after not starting for more than a year, once he did, Lamb also began to excel. In their last two games, Lamb has scored a touchdown in each, racking up a total of 209 yards, signaling a strong partnership developing between the two. This has played a major role in the Cowboys’ recent resurgence. Rush has been particularly impressed with Lamb’s ability after the catch. “He’s a warrior out there,” Rush said. “He’s catching the ball, running with it, and people don’t realize how strong and effective he is after the catch. Some of those screen plays, he’s picking up big yards.” Despite dealing with an AC joint shoulder injury, Lamb’s performance has been exceptional, which is why Rush keeps looking his way. One memorable play came against the Carolina Panthers, where Lamb made a difficult catch on a slightly underthrown ball, twisting and adjusting to reel it in. “That catch was tough,” Rush noted. “It was a little underthrown, but I tried to get enough air under it for him to see it. For him to adjust like that, it was incredible.”
