Stafford, who will turn 37 on February 7, has been a consistent performer for the Rams. In an interview after the Eagles game, Stafford expressed that he feels like he’s still playing well and is uncertain about his future, stating that he’ll take time to think things through. Rams head coach Sean McVay also praised Stafford’s play and leadership, noting that the veteran quarterback has been instrumental to the team, particularly in high-pressure situations like the playoffs. McVay added that the quarterback position will be central to the Rams’ planning as they move forward.
