Jared Goff’s Wife Shares 3-Word Message After His New Career Move
During an interview in the 2024 NFL season, Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff expressed that he often thinks about his life after football and shared some thoughts on what he might pursue next.
“Whenever I’m done, however many years from now, am I burnt out or do I want more?” he told the Detroit Free Press. “I don’t know. I’ve always said I’d love to help a friend who’s a coach, a head coach. ‘Hey, where can I help?’ And I’m not saying it’s coaching quarterbacks or anything, but just like, ‘Can I help in any way?’”
“…If I’m going to coach my kid in high school, sure, that’d be fun. But yeah, if I ever have a friend who’s a head coach and I could assist in any way, I’d be open to it. It could be a remote role, but it depends on where it is.”
Though Goff’s NFL career isn’t over, he’s already planning for the future. On Friday, it was revealed that he’s part of an investor group working to bring a WNBA team to Detroit.
“I’m thrilled to join this inspiring group of leaders as we work to bring a WNBA team to Detroit! This is an incredible opportunity for our vibrant community and the most passionate fans in the country!” he shared in an Instagram story statement.
His wife, Christen, is also involved in the bid and expressed her excitement with a “LetsBringIt” hashtag and a blue heart emoji.
At just 30 years old, Goff still has a lot of football ahead, but he’s already considering what’s next in his career.
