Following a tough playoff loss to the Washington Commanders, Detroit Lions cornerback Amik Robertson has a strong response for those questioning the team. Even after breaking his arm during the game, Robertson refuses to let the setback or the defeat define what lies ahead for the Lions.

Overcoming Adversity and Looking Ahead

Detroit entered the postseason as the NFC’s top seed, but their playoff journey was cut short earlier than anticipated. While some have blamed injuries for the team’s downfall, Robertson refuses to accept that narrative. Instead of making excuses, he sees the criticism as fuel to come back even stronger.

Speaking with TMZ’s Shannon Person, Robertson made it clear that the Lions hear their doubters and are using the negativity as motivation. “At the end of the day, all of this will come full circle. I’ve got a lot of anger and fire inside me because I couldn’t finish the game due to injury, but I’m not going to sit here and use that as an excuse,” he said.
