The Philadelphia Eagles secured the Lombardi Trophy with a dominant 40-22 victory over Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, igniting celebrations in Philadelphia and setting the stage for an intense 2025 season.

In the aftermath of the championship game, Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold—one of the team’s rising stars—couldn’t hold back his emotions.

The former Alabama standout took to X, where he boasts nearly 44,000 followers, to deliver a powerful six-word Super Bowl 60 promise that quickly grabbed attention.

“We going to get ours DETRIOT,” Arnold posted, punctuating his message with a ring emoji. By Monday morning, his declaration had already been viewed more than 289,100 times.

Arnold, the 24th overall pick by general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell, played a pivotal role in Detroit’s defense last season. He finished the year with 60 tackles—47 of them solo—and added 10 pass breakups to his resume.

Although Detroit’s secondary was a force for much of the season, the unit faltered in a crucial playoff matchup against Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders. Meanwhile, the Lions’ pass rush struggled to generate pressure, especially with Aidan Hutchinson, DJ Reader, and Alim McNeill all sidelined due to injuries.

Looking ahead, Detroit holds the 28th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and has been linked to Texas A&M edge rusher Nic Scourton as they aim to bolster their defense.
