A young bull rider is lucky to be alive after suffering a terrifying injury during a rodeo event. Zachary Naegele, 24, was gored in the throat by a bull at the Conley Invitational in Palmetto, Florida, last week, losing over two gallons of blood in a horrifying incident captured on video.
The injury occurred just seconds into his ride when the bull’s sharp horn punctured his neck, causing a massive hemorrhage in front of a stunned audience. Spectators and fellow riders watched in shock as blood spurted from Naegele’s throat, turning the dirt-covered arena into a gruesome scene.
