Za’Darius Smith, the veteran defensive end and current free agent, recently voiced strong interest in rejoining the Detroit Lions. In a conversation with USA Today, Smith made it clear that his time in Detroit left a lasting impression.
“I think everyone knows where I want to go,” Smith said. “Ideally, I’ll be back in Detroit. The coaching staff and front office are incredible, and when I’m there, I feel like a leader — someone who can mentor younger players and make a real impact. I hope I can return to the place that feels like home.”
