Mia Hutchinson Gets Engaged in Romantic Paris Setting While Brother Aidan Trains for NFL Return
Mia Hutchinson, the sister of Detroit Lions defensive standout Aidan Hutchinson, recently shared exciting personal news: she is now engaged to her partner of ten years, Tim. The proposal took place in one of the most iconic spots in the world — right by the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
The announcement came through Mia’s Instagram stories, where she posted a heartfelt image showing Tim affectionately kissing her cheek. Mia proudly displayed a sparkling engagement ring in front of the Parisian landmark, capturing a picture-perfect moment.
Accompanying the post was a caption that read:
“10 years as my boyfriend… now my FIANCÉ!!!!!!”
The couple’s celebration continued into the following day, with Mia posting a glimpse of their Paris breakfast spread. Her short caption revealed their mutual love for French cuisine:
“We love a Parisian breakfast.”
As Mia embraced a new chapter in her personal life, her brother Aidan has remained focused on football. After sustaining a significant leg injury in Week 6 last season, the Lions’ pass rusher has undergone extensive rehab and was recently cleared to return to the field.
Speaking with media at Detroit’s training facility, Hutchinson shared his excitement about getting back to work with his teammates.
“I got cleared a while back, and now I’m just rolling with the boys. It feels like I’m back to being myself again.”
Having already taken part in both OTAs and minicamp, Hutchinson is aiming for a major comeback in 2025. He reflected on what it means to return to football after such a setback:
“When I step onto that field again for the first time, no one will appreciate it more than I will. Getting to compete on that big stage again — that’s what lights my fire. That’s why I play.”
Before his injury, Hutchinson logged five appearances last season, recording 19 total tackles (including 12 solo). He’s currently playing under a rookie contract worth $35.71 million, but reports suggest he could soon land an extension that places him among the league’s top-paid edge defenders.
