The Detroit Lions got encouraging developments on the injury front Friday, though not without concern.

Per Colton Pouncy of The Athletic, linebacker Jack Campbell and left tackle Taylor Decker both rejoined practice after being sidelined earlier in the week. Their return comes at a crucial time as Detroit gears up for its primetime battle with the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.

The setback, however, is the continued absence of Marcus Davenport. The veteran pass rusher is still nursing a shoulder issue, and his availability against Lamar Jackson and the NFL’s highest-scoring offense is looking increasingly doubtful.

Campbell’s return bolsters the Lions’ run defense, which will be tested by Baltimore’s powerful ground game. Meanwhile, Decker’s presence at left tackle is vital to keeping Jared Goff protected in the pocket.

That said, Davenport’s status looms large. Should he remain out, the Lions will lean heavily on Aidan Hutchinson and Al-Quadin Muhammad to apply pressure off the edge.

Detroit has battled through adversity to start the 2025 season, but taking on a Ravens squad averaging over 40 points per contest without key defensive depth will be no easy task.
