Tennessee’s hectic week will be highlighted by one of the transfer portal’s finest guards visiting Knoxville. Terrence Hill Jr. , a 6-3 guard at VCU, will visit Tennessee as the Volunteers work to complete their 2026-27 squad.

According to reports, his trip is scheduled for Wednesday and would follow a stop in Kansas. His trip to check out the Jayhawks is clearly something to watch here.

Hill Jr. stands 6-3 and is entering his junior season at VCU. This season, he averaged 15 points per game, his first as a prominent contributor. Hill shot 37% from three-point range and averaged 2. 8 assists per game. He concluded the season strong, with 34 points versus North Carolina in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Tennessee has already signed two guards: Belmont’s Tyler Lundblade and Cal’s Dai Dai Ames. They also worked to bring back Troy Henderson, who will return for his second season. Hill would solidify a great start at guard, with maybe one or two additions to round out depth.

The Volunteers have also signed Miles Rubin, a defensive-minded big man who will accompany DeWayne Brown in the frontcourt. Tennessee will clearly require a few more pieces to complete that jigsaw.
