NASCAR Cup Series racers are competing at Dover Motor Speedway today. The All-Star Race pays $1 million to win.

On lap two, there was a major accident. Ryan Preece, Todd Gilliland, and Kyle Larson drove three wide as they exited turn four.

Preece descended from the flagstand and strolled down the track. It seems he was unaware that he was three wide. Larson’s right rear was snagged, and he crashed into the outside wall.

Preece spun around backwards into turn one. Preece backed it into the wall at a rapid rate of speed.

Immediately, the car caught fire. Preece was able to exit the car quickly.

The vehicles involved in the collision were driven by Kyle Larson, Daniel Suarez, Chase Elliott, Ryan Blaney, Todd Gilliland, Cole Custer, John Hunter Nemechek, Ryan Preece, and Michael McDowell.
