McCaffrey and Clark have been dating since April 2023. Caitlin Clark of the Indiana Fever has been enjoying a very good 2024 year for herself on a regular basis, but her most recent moment involved someone else.
She thanked her partner on his birthday and sent a lovely message between the two of them. Over a year has passed since the 22-year-old WNBA standout and Connor McCaffrey first came to public attention together in April 2023 while she was still a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes, and their romance is still going strong.
He has supported her during her good points, like breaking the NCAA scoring record or being selected with the first choice in the WNBA, as well as her poor points, such when her opponents accuse her of being involved in a racist incident.
She then seized the opportunity to repay her partner, who had also played collegiate basketball for many years, and praised him for his love before teasingly challenging him to try to defeat her on the court.
“Happy Birthday Con!,” Clark posted to Instagram. “Celebrating you is easy 🙂
“Thankful to have someone as selfless and as loving as you in my life May this be the year you finally find a way to outshoot me 😉 Love you always.” Not to be outdone, McCaffrey shot out, “And I’ll keep letting you win those shooting contests!!!!!”
Who do the Indiana Fever play next?
On Sunday, July 14, the Indiana Fever will play their most recent WNBA game against the Lynx at the Target Center in Minnesota.
The goal for the Fever is to win for the second time in as many games and for the fourth time in their previous eight. The game is set to begin at 16:00 ET/13:00 PT, and fans can expect to watch Clark lead them on as she continues to play in excellent form.
She scored 20 points, dished out 13 assists, and pulled down six rebounds in the victory over the Phoenix Mercury, raising her rookie season average to 16.8 points, 7.8 assists, and 5.9 rebounds per game.
