The Wisconsin Badgers have struck again in the Class of 2027, and it is one of their best acquisitions yet, with four-star offensive lineman Cole Reiter announcing his commitment to the team on Thursday.

Reiter, a 6’7, 315-pound tackle from Germantown, Wisconsin, visited campus numerous times and was one of the class’s top objectives, even after the offensive line coach was changed to Eric Mateos.

According to 247Sports, he is the fifth pledge in Wisconsin’s class and the second-highest recruit, trailing just four-star in-state tight end Korz Loken. Reiter is also the Badgers’ second offensive lineman in the class, joining three-star in-state prospect Ethan McIntosh, the son of Athletic Director Chris McIntosh.

All five of Wisconsin’s commitments thus far have originated within the state, and the institution is now pursuing many more targets in what is shaping up to be a very excellent in-state class.

Reiter received offers from all around the nation, including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, and other leading universities. Finally, he decided to join the Badgers, remaining home to compete for head coach Luke Fickell.

With Reiter in the fold, Wisconsin has five commitments for the 2027 class.
