- Every Transfer Is Taken Into Account
For a few minutes, Washington offensive line transfer Paki Finau was not included on the first Spring roster; he was included soon after. In January, Finau committed to the Cougars.
Finau has been included, so all of BYU’s signings have been accounted for.
- The Safety of Kennan Pula Will Be Prioritized from the Start
Kennan Pula will begin his BYU career as a safety. On signing day, it was revealed that Kennan was an athlete who could play on either side of the ball. He will begin his career at safety, and his brother Jaron will play wide receiver.
- Seth Shigg Leaves the Army
Listed as a cornerback, Seth Shigg is a transfer from the Army. As a quarterback, Shigg joined the Army. He will change roles at BYU. At that time, the Cougars were trying to sign two transfers for that position. That space seems packed now that Shigg is there.
