BYU Commit and Five-Star QB Ryder Lyons to Play His Final Prep Game at the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl

BYU’s future quarterback is set to close out his high school career on one of the nation’s biggest stages. Ryder Lyons, a five-star prospect and widely regarded as one of the top quarterbacks in the 2026 recruiting class, has been officially selected to play in the Navy All-American Bowl.

The prestigious postseason showcase, set for early January 2026, brings together the country’s best high school football players for a nationally televised game. For Lyons, it will mark the final game of his prep career before making the jump to Provo.

Lyons committed to BYU earlier this year, giving the Cougars a major recruiting victory over several powerhouse programs. Known for his strong arm, pocket presence, and dual-threat ability, he has drawn comparisons to some of the best signal-callers in recent memory.

Playing in the Navy All-American Bowl not only highlights his individual talent but also cements his status as one of the headliners in the upcoming college football class. Fans in Provo will be watching closely as Lyons takes the field one last time before donning the Cougar blue.
