Carlton Davis,has been praised for his versatility, and three teams are desperate about his formed, Jacksonville Jaguars,New York jets and Washington commanders, when free agency begins in March

Jacksonville Jaguars
ESPN recently ranked Davis as the 23rd best free agent available and suggested the Jaguars as a possible landing spot. Although the Jaguars aren’t expected to make major splashes in free agency, they are looking to strengthen their secondary. Some teams consider Davis to be the No. 2 cornerback in this free agent class, making Jacksonville a potential destination for the veteran defender.
New York Jets
Aaron Glenn, former defensive coordinator for the Lions, is now the head coach of the Jets and may look to bring some of his former players to New York. If D.J. Reed leaves in free agency, Davis could step in as his replacement. Glenn has a history of developing top cornerbacks, and with Sauce Gardner already on the roster, the Jets defense could greatly benefit from Davis’s experience.
Washington Commanders
The Commanders’ trade for Marshon Lattimore did not live up to expectations, as teams were able to exploit Lattimore in both the regular season and postseason. With their need for a solid veteran cornerback opposite Mike Sainristil, adding Davis could improve the Commanders’ defense for the coming seasons.
