Despite the fact that Prescott’s injury prevented him from playing in 2023, many NFL fans have conjectured on how well he healed after seeing a picture of him in a boot that was leaked.

Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was seen wearing a boot on vacation

Despite Prescott’s injury-free participation in the Dallas Cowboys offseason exercises, questions about whether the star quarterback was fully recovered were raised by an image of him wearing a boot that was released.

In response to questions about the injury, Prescott stated that the boot was a standard extension of the rehabilitation he had been doing ever since the incident. He claimed that the boot was a precaution after experiencing some soreness after challenging training sessions.

Video of Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott at a wedding shows he wasn’t lying about his injury.

Many people did not take the allegations about Prescott’s foot injury seriously, despite the fact that he tried to refute them. Not until Prescott’s dancing at former teammate Tyron Smith’s wedding appeared on TikTok did people start to think that his previously wounded ankle was healing.

The presence of former Cowboys defensive end Chris Canty may have been one of the reasons why so many supporters were reluctant to accept Prescott.

As previously reported, Canty clarified on his radio program “Unsportsmanlike with Cohen, Canty and Michelle” that Prescott’s boot was worn in response to an incident.

“That doesn’t happen. That’s not a thing.

Ankle taping is a preventative measure. That’s a safety measure. A walking boot indicates that something happened.

I’m not sure what that something is right now, and perhaps he has enough time to recover and be fully recovered before training camp. In 2024, Prescott will have parted ways with Smith for the first time in his professional life. In the upcoming season, Smith—who the Cowboys drafted in 2011—will be manning quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the New York Jets.

Injuries did not seem to hinder Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott’s regular season production in 2023

Dak Prescott did not appear to be affected when it came to regular season output, despite the fact that he and the Dallas Cowboys lost handily to the Green Bay Packers in the NFL playoffs’ opening round. Despite failing to make it farther in the postseason in 2023, Prescott was at the top of or very close to the top in numerous important passing categories. Out of the four NFL quarterbacks to pass for 30 touchdowns or more, he topped the league with 36 passing touchdowns.

Among signal-callers who participated in at least ten games this season, Prescott was also the most accurate quarterback in the league. Prescott finished with a 69.5% completion percentage, making just Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Jake Browning (nine games played) and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph (four games played) more accurate than Prescott. In 2023, Prescott’s passing yardage was surpassed only by Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff and Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.

These numbers demonstrate Prescott’s continued ability to contribute at a high level despite playing in all 17 games throughout the 2023 regular season.

The fact that one of Prescott’s worst games occurred during the postseason, when a nagging injury would probably be hurting him the most, may be the sole reason to be concerned about his condition.
