Al-Quadin Muhammad, a defensive end, is a new signing for the Cowboys.
To replace the injured Sam Williams, the Dallas Cowboys are adding a seasoned defensive end to their roster. The Cowboys have signed 29-year-old defensive end Al-Quadin Muhammad, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
On Thursday, August 1, Carl Lawson, Justin Hollins, Shaka Toney, and Muhammad were among the pass rushers with whom Dallas worked out. Muhammad will assist in stepping in for injured Williams, who sustained an ACL injury that ended his season on Sunday, July 28, during training camp practice.

Al-Quadin Muhammad Has Been Suspended 3 Different Times
Muhammad missed a significant amount of his college career due to suspension. He was first selected by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
Following a confrontation with a teammate during the 2014 season, he was given a season-long suspension after making five appearances in his Miami Hurricanes rookie campaign in 2013.
He was suspended for the 2016 season and ultimately fired for breaking NCAA rules after playing the whole 2015 season, during which he recorded 54 tackles and five sacks.
The six-foot four Since joining the NFL, Muhammad has had a journeyman career. He played his debut season in 2017 with the Saints and then played four years with the Indianapolis Colts.
After that, Muhammad played for the Chicago Bears in 2022 and 2023 before making a second appearance with the Colts. Muhammad’s suspension from the NFL for using performance-enhancing drugs began at the end of the 2023 season.
Over the course of his NFL career, Muhammad holds career totals of 157 tackles and 12 sacks in 84 games played and 34 starts.
