The Hall of Fame for ASCAR For more than seven years, Amy Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt Jr. have been wed.

The long-term pair exchanged vows at a lavish celebration at Childress Vineyards in North Carolina on New Year’s Eve of 2016. Amy Reimann and Earnhardt Jr. started dating in 2009.

The two-time Daytona 500 winner proposed to Amy in 2015 when they were on vacation in Germany, after they had been dating for around six years.

After becoming engaged a little over a year earlier, Earnhardt Jr. and Amy made the decision to move forward in their relationship and set their wedding date for New Year’s Eve of 2016.

Richard Childress, a racer and team owner, controlled the facility where they had a big party in Lexington. Earnhardt Jr. and Amy exchanged vows to become Mr. and Mrs. Earnhardt Jr. in front of more than 100 guests for the momentous occasion.

On his Instagram feed, Dale Earnhardt Jr. posted a little video of the wedding with the following caption: “Congratulations on your marriage! What a wonderful encounter. anticipating the remainder of our lives. @mrsamyearnhardt.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. declared his retirement from the NASCAR Cup Series a year after the wedding.

Since then, the couple has been very busy running their various businesses in addition to operating JR Motorsports.

The pair talked about how funny Dale Jr.’s encounter with a wasp swarm was.

Earnhardt Jr. was examining the heater close to the pool in the backyard. In the process of taking off the pool cover, he inadvertently disturbed a wasp nest.

The retired NASCAR driver was attacked by a swarm of about twenty-five wasps due to this abrupt movement. Though Earnhardt Jr.’s lightning-fast reflexes helped him evade his assailants, Amy laughed at what happened next.

The North Carolina-based racer was shouting and swatting his hands in the air as he escaped the scene out of sheer survival instinct.

Amy remembered how Earnhardt Jr. explained the scenario to her, having missed the entire incident. “I was furious that I had missed that.

I’m thinking, hold on, what did you do? And I missed a peek of this,” Amy remarked at 0:11 in the video. Check out the podcast footage that Dirty Mo Media posted on X with the following caption: “I thought I was going to scare them [the wasps] off!”
