CeeDee Lamb did not report to Dallas Cowboys  training camp because he want contract extension, though talks is on going between the two camps but there is no deal yet.

The Dallas Cowboys have recently placed wide receiver CeeDee Lamb on the Did Not Report list. This strategic move is primarily a procedural measure intended to create an additional roster spot. The decision comes as the Cowboys and Lamb continue their negotiations for a long-term contract extension.

CeeDee Lamb, who has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in the NFL, has been a pivotal player for Dallas since being drafted in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. His impressive performance on the field has made him a key component of the Cowboys’ offense. Lamb’s potential and skill set have not only solidified his place as a top receiver but also made him a high-priority candidate for a new contract.

The Did  Report designation allows the Cowboys to manage their roster more flexibly while they work out the details of Lamb’s contract. This move is a common tactic used by teams to create space and accommodate various roster and cap-related needs. For Lamb, it signifies a temporary pause in his participation with the team as he focuses on finalizing the terms of his new deal.

Negotiations for a long-term contract can be complex, involving detailed discussions about salary, bonuses, and other incentives. Both sides aim to reach an agreement that reflects Lamb’s value to the team while fitting within the team’s financial structure. The Cowboys are keen to secure Lamb’s services for the foreseeable future, recognizing his critical role in their offensive strategy and overall team success.

Meanwhile video resently surfaced of Lamp training alone to keep himself fit amid holdout while Cowboys continue with the contract talks with him.

In the interim, Lamb’s placement on the Did Not Report list does not diminish his importance to the team. Cowboys fans and analysts alike will be closely watching for updates on the negotiations, hoping for a swift resolution that allows Lamb to return to the field and continue his impact on the game.
