The Los Angeles Chargers and Dallas Cowboys will play in their preseason finale on Saturday in Texas. Both teams have had a difficult preseason to conclude.

At Oxnard, California’s training camp, a Cowboys player’s hotel room caught fire on Monday. A number of Chargers players and staff were stranded in an elevator at the team’s downtown Dallas hotel, the Westin, on Friday night at roughly 7:30 p.m. CT.

according to WFAA. In a statement, Los Angeles said that Dallas Fire-Rescue had successfully saved every person stuck in the elevator, one by one.

“At approximately 7:30 p.m. CT Friday evening, several players and members of the Chargers traveling party were stranded in an inoperable elevator at the team hotel,” the Chargers stated in a statement. “After responding to the incident, Dallas Fire-Rescue helped everyone from the elevator.”
