With 16 days until the season opener against the Cleveland Browns, things are getting dangerously tense. When Lamb’s agent, Tony Dandy, and the team speak this weekend, hopefully, Lamb’s holdout will end.

Lamb has not appeared in any of the team’s summer activities. Fans have been wondering how long it will take Lamb to get back into football form if his return to the squad is close.

Fortunately, he has been exercising independently in Florida under the guidance of his position coach Delfonte Diamond over the summer and Dr. Sharif Tabbah of Alkeme Sports. The wide receiver for the Cowboys just shared a video of his workout on Instagram, showing off the hard work he is been doing.

CeeDee grinds on while he waits.

In an effort to sign a long-term deal before the 2024 season begins, CeeDee Lamb is waiting for a call from the Dallas Cowboys.

In a Friday Instagram video, Lamb stated, “We grind until we get that call. Still waiting on it.”

In their contract talks, Lamb and the Cowboys “are not all that far apart,” according to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter on Tuesday.

Dallas may be under pressure to close a contract if Lamb continues to withhold himself from training camp in order to guarantee his availability for the team’s Week 1 clash against the Cleveland Browns on September 8.

The Dallas Cowboys never give up on draft picks. But following recent setbacks, Villiami Fehoko’s future in Dallas is in jeopardy.

Viliami Fehoko was a rookie who was selected in the fourth round of the 2023 draft and made the 53-man roster, although he did not play during the regular season. In addition, he has been out of action for a few weeks this year because of a knee injury.

When Dante Fowler, Jr. and Dorance Armstrong left in free agency this year, he had an opportunity to advance in the hierarchy. Although regrettable, Sam Williams’ injury also provided an opportunity for the San Jose State product.

Fehoko has failed to take advantage of the chance. A worse performance against the Rams was succeeded by a worse performance versus Las Vegas. Fehoko does not seem to be playing with confidence, despite having the ability to be a formidable force on the edge.
