Coach Dan Campbell of the Detroit Lions said to the media earlier in the week that he will be releasing more Applebee’s commercials following the success of his first one.
Sadly, I am afraid there is more to come, Campbell remarked with shyness.
Thank goodness, the second one came out quickly, and it is possibly even better than the first. Take a look at it:
In the commercial, Campbell portrays an assistant shift manager at Applebee’s who uses his leadership abilities to inspire the employees. The writing and delivery are both fantastic since they use genuine Campbellisms, such as “friendly competition.”
But the line that will undoubtedly go viral among Lions supporters is when Campbell is grumbling to himself through his teeth as he looks at the “Team Member of the Month” picture hanging on the wall:
“Craig, I am coming for you.”
