Yesterday marked the end of another practice day for the Cleveland Browns as they continue to piece together their left tackle lineup. After practicing for the first time since returning the day before, Jedrick Wills did not practice.

Although the Browns have not yet made a decision, we already knew that Wills would not be starting, and the indications lead to Jack Conklin receiving the starting job. The Browns’ offensive “X-Factor” might be anyone starting at left tackle, but there are other possibilities.

Who will be the players for each squad on both side of the ball is our question for today.

A player who might not be the Dallas Cowboys top pick could pose a serious threat to the Browns defense.

KaVontae Turpin, a wide receiver, is ready for a more significant position in the Dallas offense. The Browns should be paying attention to rumors coming out of training camp, as the Cowboys rested him the whole preseason.

He has supposedly played a lot of jet sweep and motion, and he has even been carried out of the backfield. After the Browns struggled to contain on the edges in the previous season, any offensive coordinator would be salivating.

The Browns’ excessively aggressive defense had a serious weakness that persisted into the preseason last year. Turpin, who is a real threat with the ball in his hands, will also serve as the Cowboys’ main return guy.

Naturally, defensive end Micah Parsons can be a real game-ender for the Cowboys, and cornerback Trevon Diggs can be an eraser in coverage. But we really need to be watching the linebackers because how well they can cover and shoot gaps might make all the difference in how well the Browns manage the football.

DeMarvion Overshown jumps out as someone who should receive a lot of snaps in the rotation in particular. Being nimble and adept at sideline-to-sideline movement, he has the ability to observe Deshaun Watson during play breakdowns.

Mike Zimmer, the defensive coordinator for the Cowboys, likewise enjoys using his linebackers to apply pressure up the middle. RPOs will be used by Watson and the Browns to slow them down and try to get the
