DETROIT, Michigan — During a dispute on Sunday afternoon at the Eastern Market, northeast of downtown, where fans tailgate Detroit Lions games, one man was shot and killed and another was injured.
About 4:30 p.m. on September 15, Detroit police, who were in the neighborhood assisting outbound game traffic, heard the shots. Shortly after, they detained the alleged shooter, an Oak Park man in his 30s, according to Detroit police Chief James White, who spoke to media.
