Dak Prescott says that winning a Super Bowl is his only motivator, even after agreeing to a record-breaking $240 million extension. After the Cowboys defeated the Browns 33–17, he made it clear that his top priorities are playing his part and making the team win, even as he looked forward to the next games, especially the one against the Saints.

The Cowboys would have suffered a great loss if Prescott had chosen to become a free agent in 2025, therefore his contract talks were very competitive. With an average salary of $60 million over the course of the four-year contract, he becomes the most paid player in the NFL.

With Prescott in his eighth NFL season and team owner Jerry Jones getting closer to eighty-two, the pressure to win a title has mounted. Prescott wants to go down as one of the team’s all-time greats, but he runs the risk of being eclipsed by past greats like Roger Staubach and Troy Aikman in the absence of a Super Bowl victory.
