It’s unclear when or how Lamb sustained the injury. Per Jon Machota of The Athletic, Lamb said Thursday that his ankle is good. He wanted to take Wednesday off because of soreness.
After two weeks of play in the season, Lamb is the Cowboys’ top receiver. On 17 targets, he has nine receptions for 151 yards and one touchdown. When the Cowboys take against the tough Ravens defense in Dallas, Lamb will have to play at the highest level. The Ravens, who qualified for the AFC Championship Game the previous year, are keen to avoid finishing 0-3 and to secure their first win O-3.
A determined Cowboys team hoping to finish above.500 will take on the Ravens. The Cowboys were completely destroyed by the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 following their Week 1 demolition of the Cleveland Browns. In Week 2, Lamb had four receptions for ninety yards and one score in the Cowboys’ 44-19 loss against the Saints.
