Stephen A. Smith, the Dallas Cowboys’ most notorious critic, recently expressed just how much he despises the team, revealing the source of his disdain.

Smith appeared on “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace,” a show hosted by Wallace and available on Max. During the interview, Wallace showed a montage of Smith mocking the Cowboys over the years. Afterward, Wallace asked, “Why do you hate the Cowboys so much?” Smith responded in his signature style.

“Because their fans are the most nauseating, disgusting fan base in American history,” Smith said. “If they went 1-16 and the season ended on January 5 at 7 p.m., by 7:15, they’d be saying, ‘You know we’re going to win the Super Bowl next year, right?’ That’s who they are.

“They can pass gas and claim it’s perfume,” Smith added, with Wallace laughing. “That’s their nature. You just get tired of hearing it. As a sports fan, I don’t think anything gives me more joy than seeing Cowboys fans suffer.”

The clip was shared on CNN’s social media, and fans quickly swarmed in to criticize Smith for his strong opinions.

“If he didn’t bash Dallas, he wouldn’t be relevant,” one Instagram user wrote. “He even went to another platform to hate some more. And the biggest hater award goes to…” added another with a drumroll emoji. “We Cowboys fans will live rent-free in Stephen A’s mind forever.”

Stay the same, Stephen A., but remember… We Dem Boyz.
