Here at the Observer, we have talked endlessly about how it is not much fun to watch the Cowboys these days and how it is probably more intriguing to watch the team off the field.

Matt McClearin of 1310 The Ticket wrote in his most recent piece for us that he was pleased that he did not have to see the Cowboys humiliate themselves on national television during their recent bye week. He simply did not want to spend time watching the Cowboys during their dismal 2024 season thus far, not because he did not want to serve as a post-game host that weekend.

That made us consider what we could do on a Sunday rather than setting aside a couple hours to watch Dak Prescott make some more expensive interceptions. What would we do with that precious chunk of calendar real estate during the day?

On Sunday at noon, the Cowboys take on the Atlanta Falcons, who are the favorite. Now might be a perfect time to try out some non-Cowboy-watching activities. This is what we developed:We understand. Although giving up completely is difficult, there is a technique to get around it. Click on the NFL Network’s NFL RedZone broadcast rather than the Cowboys game at noon. With seven hours of commercial-free football, it is really amazing. For those who are unaware, the concept is that a studio host plays live video from any game in which one of the teams is playing inside the 20-yard line, sometimes referred to as “the red zone.” You will not even notice that the team you were initially going to watch is playing until host Scott Hanson says, “Okay, let us go to the quad-box,” and four games are shown on your screen simultaneously. You may, however, get a glimpse of Because this topic is a living, breathing document, we recommend that you look into it.
