Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys have gone nearly 30 years without a Super Bowl victory, and with a 3-4 start to the 2024 season, a championship appears unlikely.
Despite this, Jones isn’t giving up, as the NFC East is still competitive with the Washington Commanders and Philadelphia Eagles in the mix. Although the Cowboys aren’t favored, they’ll face both teams twice, keeping hopes alive.
Ahead of the NFL trade deadline, Jones shared a surprising update on the Cowboys’ plans. In an unexpected twist, quarterback Dak Prescott may receive some much-needed support.
Did the Cowboys make a trade?
To date, the Dallas Cowboys have been hesitant to pursue a trade. Big names like Davante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins were available, but Jones believed his current roster could contend for a title.
Now, with a challenging schedule ahead, Jones suggested that a blockbuster trade remains an option. In an interview with 105.3 The Fan, he said, “If I see something, we look for all meat on bone out here that can improve our team.”
