The Giants are in desperate need of a shift, and the short bye week could provide the perfect opportunity for that to happen. However, it seems more realistic to expect them to put up a fight rather than secure a win at this point, given the current state of the team.

Dallas is beatable, but it would require the Giants to be in the right mindset. Unfortunately, their mental state seems to be in question right now, especially with injuries to key players like Jermaine Eluemunor and Evan Neal, which only deepens the team’s struggles. With that in mind, I’m predicting a Cowboys win.

Pick: Cowboys

It feels like every decision made by GM Joe Schoen and head coach Brian Daboll this season has backfired. The latest setback is placing OLB Azeez Ojulari on IR, after failing to trade him before the deadline—just another sign of how frustrating the year has been.

So, why am I picking the Giants to win? Because the team’s stars—Dexter Lawrence and Malik Nabers—are going to be under pressure to show up after their public comments last week. Plus, Daboll’s job could be on the line, which might motivate the team to rally. Despite the chaos, I think the Giants find a way to pull off an upset.

Pick: Giants

What’s good about this game? It’s right around dinnertime, so it gives fans an excuse to tune out and focus on the turkey and stuffing. Is this the saddest chapter in the history of this rivalry? Quite possibly. With the starting quarterbacks being Cooper Rush and either Tommy DeVito or Drew Lock, and both teams combining for an embarrassing 0-11 record at home, this game feels like the lowest of lows.

Dallas did snap their five-game losing streak with a win last week, but they’ve had their own issues, including trailing by 20 or more points in six straight home games. Meanwhile, the Giants are in the midst of a seven-game losing streak and just got embarrassed by Tampa Bay. The short week doesn’t help, but I’ll still pick Dallas at home.

Pick: Cowboys

The Giants should come out with more energy after their humiliating loss to the Buccaneers. Will they win? Probably not, but at least they should put up a better fight on Thanksgiving.

Pick: Cowboys
