Breaking: Packers Miss Out on Coach to Cowboys (Breaking)

The Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys share a historic rivalry within the NFC, having faced off in several unforgettable playoff games. Additionally, legendary head coach Mike McCarthy has ties to both teams, having spent significant time with each.

Now, another coach who interviewed with Green Bay has decided to join Dallas instead.

According to Jon Machota of The Athletic:

The Dallas Cowboys have hired the following assistant coaches:

Linebackers: Dave Borgonzi

Defensive Line: Aaron Whitecotton

Defensive Passing Game Coordinator: Andre Curtis

Whitecotton had interviewed with Green Bay earlier in January for their defensive line coach position.

He has spent the past four seasons working for the Jets. Whitecotton’s coaching experience also includes time with the 49ers, Bills, and Jaguars before joining Robert Saleh’s staff with the Jets.
