Dan Skipper, the fan-favorite offensive lineman for the Detroit Lions, is set to return for another season after agreeing to a one-year deal with the team, according to ESPN.

Skipper, known for his role as an extra blocker and the team’s sixth offensive lineman, took on an even more significant role last season, starting five games and stepping in at left tackle when Taylor Decker was sidelined. The 30-year-old has been with the Lions since 2019, playing in 53 games and starting 11. After a brief stint with the Houston Texans, he rejoined Detroit, where he has become a versatile asset, filling in at various positions across the offensive line, including left guard, right guard, and right tackle, as well as playing as a blocking tight end.
